 Frequently asked questions

My dog is very young / very old / very nervous.  Will my dog be OK?

Absolutely!  We don’t just put all the dogs together and hope for the best!  They will be introduced to each other very carefully.  Some dogs will happily dive straight in and have a whale of a time from the moment they arrive.  We know that others will need more TLC and encouragement.  We understand that every dog is different and it is of enormous importance to us to make your dog’s welfare our highest priority  We also know how necessary it is to tailor your dog’s care and exercise to individual requirements.

How many other dogs will my dog be living with?

We have two dogs of our own – both collie x springers  :-

·         Willow – He’s three years old now and very, very friendly.  He’s a lovely boy and loves to play, as long as it’s not too boisterous!

·         Jasmine – Willow’s sister, so also three years old.   She's a little nervous by nature but once she's satisfied herself that she's not going to get hurt she's quite happy.

We are licensed by Sedgemoor District Council to take a maximum of six visiting dogs at a time, although the most we have ever had staying with us is five.  We prefer to keep the numbers smaller so that everyone gets maximum attention and no-one misses out.

Still not sure if your dog would be happy?

Just book your dog in for a couple of hours and give it a try!
