I
can definitely recommend Carole’s Happy Dog Homestay which also happens to be the nearest
alternative licensed dog home boarding establishment. She’s based just a couple of miles away from us in
Street. And Charlie is a lovely chap –
he spends his holidays with us here and ours think he's great – and particularly if you have a playful
dog, your dog will just love Charlie and have a fantastic holiday!
She's got a great website - take a look at www.happydoghomestay.co.uk

Happy Landings,
Shepton Mallet, Somerset -
We got our dog, Jake, from Happy Landings a couple of years ago. He'd had a difficult life sharing a small house with an huge number of other dogs - so much so that his back legs were very wasted from lack of exercise. He 's an old boy, probably about 12 or so now but nobody knows for sure. They said that the older ones are the hardest to re-home - not because there's anything wrong with him, more because most people want an energetic, playful young dog. As Jake's legs have strengthened he's turned out to be a playful chap. He's been an absolute treasure and we love him to bits.
